Who we are
Nuclear Fusion Events ("NFE," "we," "us") is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, EIN 88-3126476, at 11150 W Olympic Blvd, Suite 1050 #526, Los Angeles, CA 90064-1850, United States. Contact: nuclearfusionevents@gmail.com or 323-438-1575.
What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, location, and the answers you give when you contact us, apply to volunteer, or subscribe to our newsletter; and your name, email, and donation amount when you give. Information collected automatically: pages visited, referring site, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through analytics.
What we do not collect
We do not process payment card details. Donations are handled by Every.org, and card data never reaches our servers or our staff.
How we use it
To respond to you; to send updates you asked for; to acknowledge and receipt donations; to understand which content is useful; and to meet our legal and reporting obligations as a charitable organization.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our behalf — our donation processor (Every.org), our email provider (Substack), and our analytics provider — each under their own privacy terms. We also share information where required by law, and in aggregate, non-identifying form in public reporting. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site function and analytics. You can refuse non-essential cookies through our consent banner or your browser settings; the site works without them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of the EEA and UK have equivalent rights under the GDPR. Email us and we will respond within the period required by law.
Retention
We keep donor records as long as required for tax and charitable reporting, and other information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post revisions here with an updated date, and note material changes prominently.
