No. NFE has not yet produced a large-scale event or festival, though we have a wide network of people who have. Current work is research, public education, relationship-building, pilot design, and measurement. We say this plainly rather than implying more activity than exists.

Yes, to the extent allowed by law. Contributions are processed by Every.org, which issues a receipt by email at the time of your gift. No goods or services are provided in exchange unless explicitly stated.

Because they are not ours. The festivals, organizations, and standards referenced across this site are public precedents that show what has already been demonstrated elsewhere. Listing them implies no certification, endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership with NFE.

When there is evidence to publish. We will not produce impact reports until there is clear and verifiable data gathered over time. Planting trees sounds good, but forest restoration takes years, and solar and biofuels still need to be assessed across a full lifecycle.

Greenwashing announces the outcome first. We are committing to metrics and documentation over time, publishing methods and limitations alongside results, and saying when something did not work. An extra recycling bin and a logo placement do not make an event sustainable.

Probably, and the fastest way to find out is a conversation. We are looking for pilot sites where something measurable can be tested over more than one iteration before anyone declares a breakthrough.
