Programs and impact
What NFE is building now.
Focused work with a clear reason to exist.
NFE is early. These are active areas of public education, research, partnership development, pilot design, and measurement, not completed programs wearing impressive language.
Current program areas
Start focused. Learn in public. Improve the next version.
Regenerative Event Pilot Lab
Focused pilots that let festivals, venues, and communities test a public-benefit experience before committing to a larger program.
Event Wellbeing, Care, and Recovery
Practical approaches to hydration, rest, movement, healthy food, harm reduction, accessibility, mental-health resources, and care for audiences and workers.
Visible Sustainability Education
Clean energy, circular materials, water, food systems, transport, waste, and restoration made understandable without turning the event into a lecture.
Community and Partner Discovery
Relationships with artists, educators, nonprofits, researchers, practitioners, venues, and communities who can shape responsible future pilots.
Measurement and Documentation
A practical system for participant feedback, accessibility, environmental outcomes, community value, artist experience, worker experience, and public reporting.
Public Education and Field Building
Accessible writing about regenerative festivals, cultural infrastructure, audience care, sustainability, and healthier ways of gathering.
Public education
The work is already public.
NFE’s current public output includes essays and field-building writing about festivals, sustainability, cultural infrastructure, artist and worker care, and the systems around live culture.
Impact and accountability
Impact should be documented, not invented.
NFE has not yet produced a large-scale public festival or claimed outcomes from a completed NFE event. Current work is research, public education, relationship-building, pilot design, and measurement development.
What we will report
Program date, place, partners, audience served, scope, and the methods used to understand the results.
What we will measure
Usefulness, participation, accessibility, wellbeing, community value, environmental outcomes, and artist and worker experience.
What we will admit
What failed, what remained unclear, what changed, and what should happen next.
Internally, every number carries a status: confirmed, estimated, directional, or not yet measurable. Only confirmed numbers will be reported publicly as fact.
